Diemen (June 2008) - This year eleven SIFE teams from all over the Netherlands came together at the headquarters of Randstad in Diemen to compete in the National Competition 2008. Our team was well prepared, and our presentation was designed like an interview in which we asked each other question about our projects. Unfortunately we did not make it to the finals. The SIFE teams from Leiden and Utrecht were the finalists and Leiden was allowed to participate in the World Competition in Singapore. It is not that we were not successful at all: SIFE Groningen is proud to announce to have won the Spirit of SIFE Award 2008!!!

Of course we had to celebrate our success. So we first went to an Italian restaurant in Amsterdam and later to a rollerblade club with all Dutch SIFE members. The whole day gave us motivation and inspiration for our work in the next year; SIFE Groningen is looking forward to the National Competition 2009!!!
