The TYC project team provides refugees in the refugee center in Deflzijl with support, knowledge and skills to secure an independent future for themselves and their families in The Netherlands. The team offers a series of interactive workshops (in three modules: work, education, government support) and a coaching program for more individual support.

Overall there are about 40 nationalities in the center in Delfzijl, with the largest group being from Somalia, followed by Iran and Iraq. We aim at providing the workshops and coaching program in as many relevant languages as possible, in order to reduce the language barrier for the refugees. Those  languages are English, French, Dutch, Farsi, Russian, and Chinese.
