Our business advisors are:
Madelon Beusink, Account Manager, TNT "Together with some colleagues of TNT I try to give useful input to Marketing and Sales related subjects and questions that exist within SIFE. I studied in Groningen myself and am for that reason linked to SIFE University of Groningen within TNT. In the meantime, some Brainstorm sessions were held in our The Hague Head Office. Different topics were discussed, among others; "How can we target Students?", "How can we sell SIFE in one minute?" and "What is the profile of a SIFE student?". By means of these brainstorms we tried to establish a good and clear image of SIFE with the participating SIFE members. What I like best about these sessions, is that I see that all the SIFE Members are very enthusiastic and motivated!"
Drs Marcel van der Pol Training, performance & mediation I've promised SIFE Groningen, it's always possible to ask for help when they get stuck in the process and need a creative boost; for example by project development and project start-ups, by creative thinking, ideas generation, transforming ideas into action, and team development. It's good to work with motivated students. Especially intruiging were our various quests for divergent new perceptions of reality. I like that a lot. Moreover I take advantage of this cooporation myself: coaching SIFE students helps me to improve and to focus the didactic coaching of lecturers.
Paul Roper As business advisor to SIFE I don't only enjoy the experience of working with a group of enthousiastic students but I believe there is also an exchange of knowledge and experience. I learn from the multi cultural character of the group and I am fascinated by the diversity of the projects. Furthermore I believe I can contribute my business experience in order to improve the execution of the projects.
Moniek Snuverink Management Trainee ORMIT With ORMIT being a partner of SIFE, I was asked to become a business advisor. Since I've studied in Groningen myself, I immediately became interested in advising SIFE Groningen. My experience as a board member of an International Student Organization in Groningen can be helpful in the development of the organization and its structure. Furthermore, via ORMIT I've been involved in many different projects, which can prove useful for managing SIFE projects. But more importantly it is nice to see the enthusiasm and motivation of the SIFE students and being able to be of help if needed. I think it's very valuable that an organization not only gives the opportunity to students to develop themselves, but also contributes to the development of several communities. |
